Welcome to Holy Ghost Unholy Holy Ghost. I put this site together to offer a Biblical explanation for "ghosts'l, or what some of us bellieve to be "ghosts".

So you don't have to be Christian to understand what the scriptures say about ghosts anymore than we need to be nazi's to understand the mindset of Hitler and his followers in the years prior to and during WWII.

Before I get into what the Bible  says, I also want to offer help to anyone having "hauntings"

I know from personal  experience  that being haunted  is real, and terrifying.

I experienced my fist "attack" when I was a boy, and it was very real, and prolonged. Yes, we do tend to freak ourselves out, especially  children. However , a small percent of the time, there are true attacks. If you need help, I can offer advice, but it will be from a Biblical perspective. From my experience there is only onexway to beat these entities, and it starts and ends with God. Click here -

More on my experiences later.

So what does the bible  say about ghosts?

How many times have you been told a "true" story about a ghost of a "little girl" who is lost, and can't find the "light" so a psychic  had to show the poor, sad, lost little "ghost" girl where the light was?

Ask yourself what kind of a loving God would either forget, or leave a deceased child, or an adult for that matter, to wonder around in ghost limbo?

Here's what the Bible says...

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

In this verse, God is speaking to John, instructing John to "write this down" and explains that belivers go to a place of "rest' after death.

I will show exactly where this place of rest is shortly.

2 Corinthians 5:8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.

So there it is. Believers go to " be with the Lord" after death.

Ok, I know there's going to be a lot of questions, but I'm not here to debate, or explain scripture in depth. I'm simply trying to explain about "ghosts" from a Bible perspective.

I don't want to complicate.

The Bible explains what these "ghosts" truly  are.

Eph 6:12: For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We are actually involved in spiritual warefare with evil, satanic forces. These evil, demonic  spirits have one goal - to turn as many of God's beloved creation away from God as they possibly can. They hate us and want to destroy us. Are we willing to battle demonic entities? Maybe...what about our children and other loved ones? Are we willing to battle for them? This is a question we must each answer. Do we believe scripture, or is it all just foolishness?

Well, if you are here because you have your own personal experience, then you have to ask yourself weather you are imagining things, or has the Bible explained your experience?

The Bible tells us that a spiritual realm does exist, invisible to human eyes. It is populated by God and his angels, Satan, and his fallen angels, or demons. Despite the claims of unbelievers, there are no ghosts wandering about the earth. The spirits of deceased humans inhabit one of two places: heaven or hell.

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
